Congratulations to all our Award Winners from the Knights of Columbus Council 10031 and thank you for making our village/community worthy of our parish, our parish worthy of our families, and our families worthy of our children.
This year the Knights honored 21 award winners in five categories as follows: Community Family - Cathy Johnson, Right to Life Volunteer Coordinator; Sue Valiton, Feed the Kids - Haiti; Jeff Recher, Cub Scout Leader Pack 330, St. Huberts; Mother Mary Claire, Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus, New Ulm. Parish Family - Pat Dolejsi, Hospitality Coordinator; Mary Yazbec, Religion Teacher, SHS Vocations Trip; Bob Heinrich, FMSC director, volunteer SHS Vocations Trip; Father Bruno Nwachukwu, Assistant Pastor, KC Chaplin, SHS Vocations Trip Organizer. Ministry Family - Tiffany Gerken, GROW Ministry; Dave Hoffman, Men's Ministry; Andrew Engesse, Youth Ministry Leader; Abigail Rome, Youth Ministry Leader. Vocations Family - Paul Hedman, Teaching Seminarian; Kyle Etzel, Parish Seminarian; Paul DiFuccia, Parish Seminarian, fall 2018. Teaching Family - David Talty and John Lunger Net Team teachers in training; Erin Offerdahl, 2018 Recipient of the Minnesota Independent School Forum (MISF) Excellence in Teaching Award Grades K-8. High School Scholarship Award Winners - Sam Monk and Elizabeth Guggemos. Knight of the Year Award - Larry Pfaff; Knight Family of the Year Award - Jerret and Sara Coon Family.
The Council would especially like to thank Father Bruno Nwachukwu who is leaving us after three years as our Chaplin. He has served the St. Hubert Parish and our Council faithfully and will always remain in our hearts. We will miss you dearly Father Bruno.
