Brian and Tegwin Rome Family selected KC National Family of the Year runner up.
/The award was given during the 135th National Knights of Columbus Supreme Convention in St. Louis, MO. this past August. Brian and Tegwin Rome and their five children, Abigail, Caleb, Sophia, Olivia and Noah were second runners up at the National Knights of Columbus Convention as the Family of the Year for 2017. They were selected from state Knights of Columbus Family of the Year Award Winners throughout the United States. The National Award was presented by State Knights of Columbus Deputy, Bob Penas, after a Regular Meeting of the Chanhassen Council in December.
The Romes received their State Family of the Year Award at the State Convention in Brooklyn Park in May. The award was based on contributions made by all family members over and above ordinary participation in parish and community organizations
A reception in honor of the Romes was held at the St Hubert Church Fellowship Hall Sunday, February 4th. State Knights of Columbus District Deputy, Dan Lawrence, and many other Knights and Parishioners showed up to congratulate the Brian and Tegwin Rome Family on their prestigious honor.
